One week of fantasy production is sometimes nothing more than an outlier (we are all looking in Isaiah Likely's direction). Two weeks remain a small sample size (we were always skeptical, Alec Pierce).
But three weeks? Well, that's the beginning of a trend (Saquon Barkley's return to fantasy superstardom is upon us).
We are starting to round up enough data to truly understand how a player's trade value will shake out this season, and with the bye weeks looming, a smart trade or two could be the difference between scraping by and thriving.
That's where the weekly fantasy trade value chart comes into play. Remember to take your particular league lineup requirements and scoring format in perspective (the trade chart is compiled using PPR scoring) when utilizing the values below. And as always, may the fantasy points be with you!

Don't Panic-Sell on CeeDee Lamb
CeeDee Lamb's slow start undoubtedly has some fantasy players worrying. That's understandable.
But last season, when he finished as the No. 1 wideout in fantasy football, he also started slow, with just one 100-yard game in his first five contests. In fact, in four of his first five games last season, he caught exactly four passes per contest. And in that five-game span, he only registered one touchdown.
Yes, his somewhat slow start isn't ideal. But the Cowboys in general haven't been great, and Lamb has a recent history of slow starts. He'll shake out of it, though, and should return to elite standing. So please, fantasy players of the world—don't panic-sell on him. Patience.
Exercise Restraint on a Few of Week 3's Breakout Stars
Dallas Goedert's 10-yard, 170-yard performance against the New Orleans Saints may make him a popular trade target this week. But consider the context before overspending.
The Philadelphia Eagles were without A.J. Brown; DeVonta Smith and Britain Covey each got injured during the contest; and Jahan Dotson, Parris Campbell and Johnny Wilson aren't exactly game-changers at wide receiver.
Those targets had to go somewhere, in other words, and 11 of the 38 passes Hurts threw ended up heading toward Goedert. That will not be a weekly occurrence.
Yahoo Fantasy Sports @YahooFantasyDallas Goedert is the TE1 in fantasy this season... and this is why you should sell high ASAP (via Yahoo Fantasy Forecast)<a href="https://twitter.com/MattHarmon_BYB?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@MattHarmon_BYB</a> | <a href="https://twitter.com/SalVetriDFS?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@SalVetriDFS</a> <a href="https://t.co/3uC5i2Z9oj">pic.twitter.com/3uC5i2Z9oj</a>
Goedert still has the bona fides to be a low-end TE1. But don't pay elite-tier prices for him.
Jauan Jennings should be another obvious player to avoid overpaying to acquire. The San Francisco 49ers were without McCaffrey, Samuel and Kittle in Week 3, a trio of stars.
Jennings popped off in Week 3, and he's a nice option while the Niners are beat up. The moment they get healthy, though, he returns to fantasy irrelevance.
Chuba Hubbard had a fantastic game on Sunday, rushing 21 times for 114 yards while adding five catches for 55 yards and a score.
He's the clear RB1 in Carolina at the moment, but that "at the moment" is important context—some point soon, Jonathon Brooks will be cleared to play, and the second-round pick is a real talent. Hubbard is a fantastic sell-high candidate, as his fantasy value likely will crater once his rookie counterpart is healthy, as early as Week 5.
On the other hand, Diontae Johnson is a fantastic buy-low candidate.
The insertion of Andy Dalton into the starting lineup provided Johnson with an immediate boon in Week 3, and could revitalize his fantasy season.
Johnson will never be more than a flex candidate, but as the bye weeks approach, having a roster full of viable flex options is crucial.
